Founded in 2021 by Ingrid Aparicio, Bacana studios born from the passion to reinvent, create and project hospitality.

Ingrid, after finishing her studies at the Eina design school in Barcelona, began her professional career in the world of design and hospitality in Central America where she designed and led many projects for 4 years.

In 2018 she moved to Portugal to expand Selina Hotels in Europe. Today she is the Global Director of the Selina brand, and runs Studio Bacana with her team from Portugal.

As a designer, I believe in approaching every project with an unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in every aspect of the design process.

From crafting innovative business models to formulating effective strategies, my approach to design is fueled by creativity and a passion for producing work that truly resonates with its intended audience.

I firmly believe that the key to successful design lies in a holistic approach that considers all aspects of the project and its impact on the environment.
